IMPROVISATIONAL ROCK & ROLL
Celebrating the music of the Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead & beyond.
Peach Fuzz is an improvisational rock & roll band from the North Shore of Boston, Massachusetts, celebrating the music and spirit of the Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, and the artists who helped shape the American jam tradition.
Originally formed around a shared love of the Allman Brothers Band, Peach Fuzz has grown beyond its tribute-band roots into something broader. The band’s repertoire now moves freely between the Southern rock of the Allman Brothers, the exploratory psychedelia of the Grateful Dead, and a growing collection of blues, rock, soul, and roots music that feels at home alongside them.
At the heart of Peach Fuzz is improvisation. Rather than simply recreating songs note for note, the band uses them as a starting point, stretching out arrangements, opening up jams, and letting the music take a different direction from one night to the next.
